Description

Open Arms Home Care is currently looking for experienced HHA/PCA – a home care aide is responsible for providing services to clients at home needing care and assistance during the day, evening, and/or weekend under the direction of Open Arms Home Care policies, protocols, and procedures.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Assisting clients with personal hygiene, physical comfort, nutritional needs, and household activities to ensure a safe and clean environment
Communicating effectively and efficiently with the client, family, and/or caregiver regarding client’s needs and the services provided
Utilizing proper techniques of positioning, body mechanics, and body alignment
Performing all tasks in accordance to policies regarding Infection Control and Universal Precautions
Ensuring client’s rights, including confidentiality of care
Conducting services in a caring, professional and ethical manner at all times
Assisting with performance of procedures to ensure the physical well-being and comfort of the client
Responding appropriately to emergencies
Participating with office schedulers and the Open Arms Home Care coordinator in planning for client services and scheduling of home visits
Submitting legible, timely and accurate documentation for billing and payroll purposes
Working independently, including prioritizing scheduling of visits with minimum supervision
Communicating in a timely manner with office staff regarding delayed arrivals or absences from assignments
Participating in the process to maintain internal and external customer satisfaction

Qualifications include but are not limited to:

Minimum 18 years of age
A positive, respectful, and professional attitude
Strong verbal, written, and reading skills (in English)
Bilingual
High School Diploma or equivalent
One year prior experience applicable to position

Description

Open Arms Home Care is currently looking for Human Resources Specialists to guide prospective employees through the intake and HR onboarding process including Spanish language individuals.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Create positive rapport with people selected as prospective employees as they go through applicable steps, including applying for and finishing school, passing state exams, and fulfilling all compliance requirements
Work collaboratively with the leadership team and facility management to provide superior human resource services to our employees and the facilities
Support a broad range of human resource activities including employee engagement employee benefits, training, payroll and maintenance of personnel files
“Hands on” position that requires interaction and visibility with all levels of the organization
Identify obstacles and concerns with applicable managers and departments for decisions and necessary steps for resolution
Navigate numerous steps and sometimes complex coordination across departments
Track and report regularly for completion of tasks
Prepare, deliver and process documentation

Qualifications include but are not limited to:

A positive, respectful, and professional attitude
4 years’ experience in an Intake, Human Resources, Recruiting, Health Care Administrative or comparable people-centered role
Intermediate knowledge of PC applications, including Microsoft Office

Description

Open Arms Home Care is currently looking to bring on a Case Manager to our ever growing team. Case Managers collaborate with our clients to create personalized care plans that promote quality of life, independence, and safety in the home. The Case Manager will communicate effectively, appropriately, and timely with the care team to respond to our clients’ changing needs.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Completes initial and ongoing assessments of the client to determine needs
Creates plan of care in conjunction with the client and family
Assesses and maintains the care plan with scheduled visits
Collaborates as a member of the care team to ensure continuity of care
Supervises care providers to ensure the client receives quality care
Completes, maintains, submits accurate and timely patient care notes relevant to the client’s care, condition, and need
Provides education to caregivers, clients, and family members as appropriate
Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development through education and training opportunities

Qualifications include but are not limited to:

4 years’ experience in an Intake, Health Care Administrative or comparable people-centered role
Current CPR certification
Proficient in computer skills, documentation, applications
Ability to lift, sit, stand, kneel, twist, bend with ease
Strong verbal, written, communication and organizational skills
Ability to perform in a metrics-driven environment

Description

We are actively seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our home care administrative team. The Medical Assistant is a multi-skilled member of the Open Arms Team who performs administrative and clinical procedures (Administers PPD’s) under the supervision of licensed health care providers.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately
Answer, screen and forward any incoming phone calls while providing basic information as needed
Receive and sort daily mail/deliveries/couriers
Update appointment calendars and schedule meetings/appointments
Perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, collating, faxing etc
Administer PPD’s
Keep an accurate inventory of medical supplies and medications
Maintains confidential information of the work place according to the policies and procedures of the institution and HIPAA regulations
Demonstrates the ability to organize and plan daily work with completion requirements
Answering multi-line telephone

Qualifications include but are not limited to:

Must be a Certified Medical Assistant
Must have graduated from an accredited Medical Assisting program
A positive, respectful, and professional attitude
Proficient in computer skills, documentation, applications; including Microsoft Office
Strong verbal, written, communication and organizational skills
Ability to perform in a metrics-driven environment
Bilingual
